On the 22nd April 2017, The student council of Swinburne University Sarawak Campus organized a carnival to promote Swinburne as well as fund raising for all the clubs. SSIET took part in the event and set up an ice cream selling booth.

Activities were as follows:

8:45 am

Setting up the booth

9:00 am

Opening ceremony by Student Council and Chancellor.

9:15 am

Ice cream selling

4:00 pm

Closing ceremony and clean up before left
