Pi Day 2017

On the 14th of March 2017, SSIET organized an event called Pi Day Challenge. Many students of Swinburne Sarawak had visited the SSIET Pi Day Challenge booth on that day. Participants or challengers were able to try multiple times on the Pi Game. Besides, there is also a Pi Challenge for the participants, a challenge to memorize the most digits of Pi. The participant with the highest score on the Pi Game had received a RM30 cash prize as reward whereas the champion who memorized the most number of Pi had received an exclusive jacket from IET. The event started at 10:30am, and ended at 6.30pm.


Happenings for the event are as follows:

10:00 am

SSIET working committees arrived at G Block lobby to set up the booth. Both the Pi Game and Pi Challenge was done electronically.

10:30 am

The booth was open for visitors. The fee per challenge was RM1.00 for the Pi Game and RM2.00 for the Pi Challenge. Challengers or participants were allowed to try more than once in order to obtain the highest score.

5:30 pm

Scores of all participants or challengers were tallied and the champion with the highest score was contacted to attend the prize giving ceremony at the booth.
