Club Recruitment Drive 2017

On the 8th of March 2017, SSIET conducted a club recruitment drive in Swinburne Sarawak. All the committees of SSIET participated as working committees. The purpose of the recruitment drive is to:

1. Introduce IET to fellow students of Swinburne Sarawak.

2. Recruit new members for SSIET.

3. Promote IET

The event started at 10:00pm, and ended at 5.00pm. Happenings for the event are as follows:

10:00 am

SSIET working committees arrived at the booth allocated for SSIET in the auditorium (G001) for set up and preparations.

10:05 am

The recruitment drive began with materials and brochures required to ease the introduction of IET to new members were prepared.

Estimated total of 50 Swinburne Sarawak students visited the booth and expressed their interest to the club. Fellow SSIET working committees explained the importance and the benefits of joining IET. The visitors were also thought with the procedures of registration which was done electronically/online.

5:00 pm

The recruitment drive came to an end. SSIET acquired 15 new members from this recruitment drive. SSIET committees also invited those who are interested to join AGM on 9 March 2017.
