“We have to step out of the unemployment line and step up on productivity. Otherwise, talents will need to be imported and the spillovers of the developments will be channel out of the country,” added Hor.
Earlier, 10 youth non-governmental organizations and campus organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding in support of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit 2011. They are; Sarawak Die-Hard Fans (SADIEHAF), Swinburne Sarawak IET Student Chapter, Office Management Sarawak (OMSAR), Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Komander Kesatria, UiTM Sarawak Student Council, UiTM Bachelor of Administrative Science (BASIS), UiTM Language Society, UiTM Science Frontier Society, UiTM Non-Resident Association, UiTM Mahasiswa Pentadbiran Awam (MASPENA). Joining the 50 youth influencers and leaders present at the press conference cum MoU signing ceremony is Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department who is also the Assistant Minister for Youth Affairs and Training, YB Larry S’ng Wei Shean.
