Are you keen to know how emergency calls to the Civil Defence Unit are handled and processed? Do you ever wonder what happens when someone calls for an ambulance, or asks for help to rescue his/her pet trapped on roof top, or to capture a poisonous pest? Are you keen to see a demonstration to capture a real snake?
If you answer YES, then this event is for you!
Brought to you exclusively by IET Malaysia, and hosted by the Civil Defence Unit at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee, Kuching, Sarawak, we will be visiting their call centre and operation unit, and get to know the in-and-out of what Civil Defence does. We will get to know how emergency calls are handled and processed, how a rescue operation is co-ordinated, and the relevant technology involved. The highlight of the visit will be a demo of the facilities and capturing a snake by the Civil Defenders.
