On the 24th September, Swinburne Sarawak IET on Campus organized an in-class presentation. The event aims to bring awareness of SSIET to the new students and recruit new members. The target audiences were 1st year of engineering students. The in-class presentation was covered by Chin Hau Zen, SSIET Recruitment and Rectification Officer. Hau Zen shared an overview of SSIET, SSIET’s past achievements and events, as well as the benefits of membership to the students.
The talk starts from 4.30pm and run for 1 hours, ended at 5.30pm. The activities are summarized below.
4.30 pm
Chin Hau Zen, SSIET Recruitment and Rectification Officer gaves his presentation on what IET stands for and what is SSIET. He then mentioned our past achievements and explained joining SSIET will greatly develop their professional skills and provide them with the exposure that students so desperately need now for our industry.
5.30pm
The in-class presentation ended with a small recruitment session where interested students scanned a QR code to register for SSIET.
