The talk was held on the 2nd November 2019 from 2pm until 4pm at St. John Ambulance HQ in Kuching. The talk aimed to teach participants on how to deal with an injured person in various emergency conditions.
The participants have gathered at Block A lobby of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. They were asked to fill the event attendance form and letters of indemnity. The participants depart to the St. John Ambulance HQ by car-pooling. Upon arrival, the participants were greeted by Mr. Johnny Kua from St. John Ambulance HQ in Kuching.
My Johnny began with his introduction. He briefly explained on the basic first aid care skills that can stabilize an injury person. This is important as the situation of an injured person will deteriorate if basic first aid care is not applied at the right time. Besides that, the speaker demonstrated on how to perform a CPR and shared some important tips when conducting CPR technique.
After the talk, a token of appreciation and honorarium were given to St. John Ambulance HQ. Lastly, a group photo was taken.
