On the 25th February, Swinburne Sarawak IET On Campus organized a site visit to Yakult Factory in Negeri Sembilan. The visit is an International collaboration with Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn Campus and Yakultt (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. The site visit begun with a briefing by Mr. Yeaw Zhi Xiong and ended with a tour of the factory processes. Sadly, the processes are confidential hence there are no photos included about said processes.
At, 9:30 pm, a representative from Yakult, Mr. Yeaw Zhi Xiong explained to us about the company background as well as the general process of making a Yakult beverage. The briefing included reasons why they did what they did and how Yakult benefits the average person.
After that, participants were given an excellent tour by their representative Mr. Yeaw Zhi Xiong and were able to observe clearly the entire process on how they make their beverages from the culturing to the packaging.
The trip was concluded with a group photo as well as presenting a token of our appreciation to Mr. Yeaw Zhi Xiong.
