Participants: All Swinburne Sarawak Engineering Students
On the 6th of April, SSIET conducted a club recruitment drive in Swinburne Sarawak. The drive was open to all Swinburne Engineering Students and roughly 50 students were in participation. All SSIET committees with their respective roles were there to help the event out. The purpose of this recruitment drive is to:
1. To bring awareness of the club to Swinburne students.
2. To attract applications.
3. To promote the club.
4. To manage and recruit new members.
The drive started from 10.00 am and run for 7 hours, ended at 5.00pm. Happenings for the event are as follows:

SSIET working committees arrived before the actual time at the booth allocated near the auditorium of G block to set up and preparations. Event poster and flyers were ready to distribute to the students to aware students regarding the recruitment activity. Application form in soft copy was also prepared. A video presenting SSIET and the past events was likewise prepared and played at the booth throughout the recruitment drive.
SSIET committees were also present at the booth to promote the benefits of joining IET to students. Swinburne Engineering Sarawak students visited the booth and expressed their interest to join the club. Those students were briefed with upcoming SSIET activities. Registration of new SSIET members was also conducted on the spot.

The recruitment drive came to an end. Total of 11 new members were recruited.
