Swinburne Sarawak IET On Campus (SSIET) had successfully organized Internet of Things (IoT) Workshop. Held on 17 September 2016, a total of 14 participants were present, including 4 non-IET members. Technical support and training were provided by Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) Malaysia through a partnership, however the preparation and purchasing of equipment were done by SSIET.
At 8.30 am, the workshop started with registration of participants. Then, the trainers introduced themselves and hence the training commenced. Program flow can be found below. The workshop ended 30 minutes earlier than planned, after all the components were covered.

· Committee members and trainers guided the participants to download Codebender extension
· Writing first Arduino sketch

Grouping of participants and simple coding
· Participants worked in groups due to limited number of Arduino Uno microcontrollers.
· Graphical tutorial of connecting Adruino Uno microcontrollers to laptops
· Example code: Blink without Delay

· Introduction to using Windows 10 IoT Core
